Tomorrow I’m going to be doing my first TaylorMade Performance Lab session. A new “TMPL” has opened here in Utah at South Mountain Golf Course. These labs are very high tech and they do all sorts of cool swing analysis and club fitting.
My soon to be golf doc Mike Lewis will be diagnosing the “granny over the top across the line dual chicken wing lateral sway epileptic seizure early release inside out club face open” swing. Can’t wait to see that swing in 3D. It might break their system.
Stay tuned for a full report and photos, especially of the granny swing.
Woa it has been at least a year or two since I’ve been to the TaylorMade web site. It was so bad with all the Adobe Flash animations and things flying around, that I couldn’t even find a product without waiting for things to fly around and load for 20 minutes. They’ve fixed that, and now the site loads fast! The site is actually nice to look at and is easily navigated now! Big improvement.
It isn’t perfect though. I’m not able to find much regarding the “FAS-TEK” accessory system. In fact searching for that specific term results in a blank page.
FAS-TEK
The FAS-TEK system is a cool option on golf bags which puts a little locking mechanism on the bag which an accessory can attach to. The accessories can vary from a sunglasses case, cell phone case, GPS/laser rangefinder case, cigar case etc.
Pictured right is a case which can be used to hold various items, but likely meant primarily for a larger laser. Click the image to see more.
FAS-TEK case suggestions
Despite having so many cool cases, here are a few I’d suggest below. Of course, should TaylorMade use any of these ideas, I want a full commission…

It is tough for me to get much done with my bad shoulder and one arm here at the show. But as I get by a computer and find a connection and some time to work, I’ll be uploading media.
Below is an interview I did with my pal Gary from TaylorMade on the new white R11 and Burner Superfast 2.0 Drivers. Gary takes us through all the cool features and explains in great detail the concepts behind them.
Here are some shots of the new TaylorMade tour van, which is making its first stop at this week’s PGA Tour event in Torrey Pines. Yes it is white.

Here is the last of my batch of new photos from my local TalorMade rep Phil. Thanks Phil. See you this week at the PGA Show.
Below is a shot of the new TaylorMade MC forged irons which will be coming out in March 2011. TM calls this club design a “muscle-cavityback-blade.”
