No mechanical testing by an Iron Byron swing robot. No computer analysis of swing launch angles, spin rates, ball compression here. None of that geeky and moderately useless technical information is needed for this review. All that’s necessary is a few solid rounds, so to speak.
The stainless steel Tattoo Golf flask is a great golf and life accessory, whether using it on the golf course, tailgating, or sneaking a wee nip in anywhere it is needed.
This is not a little boy’s flask, clocking in at a manly 8oz, much more than a standard flask.
Artwork
I really the available artwork for TG’s flasks. Mine is the Pin-Up Girl. I may have to get a couple more of the 48 different flasks Tattoo Golf currently stocks. Need one with some bigger skulls (you can see a skull on the pin-up girl’s Tattoo Golf polo).
Final Thoughts
The Tattoo Golf flask has become the go-to club in my golf bag. Always delivers. Never disappoints, except when it is empty.
I strongly suggest this item as a Father’s Day golf gift, Christmas gift, or one for any occasion. $29 of pure joy.
In for review, the latest awesome item from Tattoo Golf. This could be the most important club in the bag.
This next golf accessory review is going to take some dedication and plenty of time in the testing phase. I can already guarantee this would be a great Father’s Day gift.
Today’s apparel script features the very stylish new Tattoo Golf Shorts, charcoal in color. These are perhaps the sharpest, nicest golf shorts I have in the closet now. Add to the style and quality a small embroidered skull and golf club cross bones on the right hip to complete the ensemble.
Golf Shorts Overview
These Tattoo Golf shorts are a 60/40 cotton/polyester blend. The fabric is soft, yet has a thicker strength to it like a levi style material.
There are plenty of pockets for holding all the cash the player wins on the golf course, as well as a “media” pocket on the right which can hold a golf GPS watch, iPod, or small mobile device. On the outside of the media pocket is the signature skull and crossed golf club bones. A must have.
Sizes/Colors
Sizes for the Tattoo Golf Shorts run from 30 to 40 inches. Happy to be in that range.
Colors available include charcoal (pictured), black, and tan.
On The Course
On the course these shorts provide great comfort, plenty of pocket space, and look fantastic. The charcoal model can match any color shirt in the closet, but goes best with other Tattoo golf polos.
Conclusion
Tough to craft a 3,000 word review on a pair of golf shorts, so 250 will have to suffice. In all the crucial areas I judge golf shorts or apparel on, the Tattoo Golf Shorts score the highest ratings: comfort, style, performance, easy maintenance. Check.

My friends at Tattoo Golf have done it again. They’ve delivered a very sharp looking, stylish, high quality golf polo in the “Clubhouse Collection.” The Clubhouse Collection has one unique feature I really dig, a bad ass skull. As you can tell from the Hooked On Golf Blog logo, golf and skulls are a great combination in my book. Though the skull is a great feature, this polo has much more to offer. Lets take a closer look at Tattoo Golf’s Clubhouse Collection.
Clubhouse Collection Overview
The $59 (retail) Clubhouse polo features a 100% woven polyester fabric which is silky smooth and comfortable. Being a poly means that this garment is very easy to care for, needing not much more than a machine wash and little to no ironing. And since it isn’t cotton, it won’t shrink.
The fabric is also very breathable, keeping the player cool under the collar (at least physically).
Speaking of cool, this is a very classy design which is bold yet simple.
Even without the subtle skull with cross clubs featured on the upper left side of the chest this shirt is fantastic. With the skull? Killer.
The polo also features side venting which comes in handy on very warm days.
Sizes/Colors
The Clubhouse Collection polo comes in sizes from small to XXXL.
Colors available are black (pictured) and white.
On The Course
The comfort and fit of this polo is fantastic. The fabric is extremely smooth and soft on the skin.
The looks are rocking yet classy enough to wear to the country club. At the country club the subtle skull gets some double-takes from some of the stuffy old cronies. Just what I like.
Performance wise the polo’s great fit doesn’t inhibit the swing in any fashion. Crush drives freely.
Conclusion
Tattoo Golf’s Clubhouse Collection is one of my favorite polos for 2013. The polo scores perfectly on the three primary requirements I have for a golf shirt: performance, comfort and style.
