The Paradise golf shirt is part of Puma’s PLAY LOOSE collection and that’s just what I’ve been doing in it.

I’ve played loose just about everywhere, from the office to dinner parties to the beach.  About the only place I haven’t played loose in it is the golf course. Unfortunately due to my shoulder injury, I won’t be golfing until sometime in 2020.  Still, I can tout the wonders of this great apparel script choice from Puma Golf.  Let’s take a look.

Paradise Overview

This full button-up shirt is made from 89% polyester and 11% spandex, making it lightweight and very soft.  It’s extremely thin and comfortable.  I can barely tell I have a shirt on.  It’s so smooth and soft that it practically feels better to wear it than not.  The fit is right on and when I make body movements the shirt gives and moves with me, rather than resisting or binding.

The print on the shirt features some golf clubs, palm trees and a mountain scene.

Caring for this shirt is a breeze, no pun intended.  The poly and spandex combination resists wrinkling and doesn’t shrink, like cotton shirts. I take it out of the dryer and slap it on.  No ironing or steaming to get the wrinkles out.

Speaking of the fabric, the shirt provides moisture wicking.  This is a process where the fabric pulls the moisture away from the wearer’s body, where it can then be evaporated into the atmosphere.  This helps keep the wearer dry and cool.

Colors/Sizes

The Paradise shirt comes in one color, the dark blue you see in the images.  Sizes range from small to double-extra-large.  I wear an XL and the fit is perfect.

On The Course

Well shoot.  I can’t do my normal “on the course” section which I like to do in my reviews due to the shoulder injury.  That said, I have worn this great shirt at the beach in Florida, the mountains of Utah, in art galleries, at work, at home, and dozens of other places.  I’ve had nothing but great experiences.  There was even one lady at work who I’ve probably never spoken to in at least a year.  She came right up to me and gave me a “nice shirt” comment.

Final Thoughts

The Paradise shirt ($75) from Puma Golf is a very versatile and stylish alternative to stock golf polos.  Mine’s one of my top gamers, featured in many of my personal apparel scripts.

Wear it untucked!

Puma Union Camo Polo Review

I first showed off my new Puma Union Camo polo during the Masters Tournament a few weeks ago.  Thus, the Masters color scheme.  What an exciting Masters too. Tiger Woods showed the world he could win another major championship when many had written him off.

With FATHER’S DAY coming up this week I thought I’d post this review because this polo would make a fantastic gift for dad.  I’ve put mine through the paces and it’s still super comfortable.  Let’s take a look.

Union Camo Polo Features

  • Made from 83% polyester, 13% cotton, 4% elastane
  • Colors include Juniper green (pictured) and Iron Gate (gray)
  • Lightweight and soft
  • Provides moisture wicking to keep the wearer dry
  • Helps you look as good as Rickie Fowler

The Experience

I can’t stress how soft and comfortable this polo is.  It is so smooth.  The flexible fabric makes the polo move with my body and never binds or pulls, or feels too tight anywhere.  After two months of use my Camo is still as vibrant as when I got it. Since the polo is mostly not cotton, it hasn’t shrunk.

The non-cotton fabrics also help in terms of managing wrinkles.  I take it out of the dryer and hang it up and I’m good to go next time.  No ironing needed.

Final Thoughts

On or off the golf course the Puma Golf Union Camo is a fantastic choice.  Dad would love to have one for Father’s Day.  I need to get my offspring to get me the gray one.  Pardon me…. “Iron Gate.”

Puma Golf is making some cool new golf shirts that are a cross between a polo and a button down beach shirt.  They’re part of the “Play Loose” collection.  Here’s a first look at one of two new ones HOG will be reviewing below. Say hello to the Breezer Golf Shirt.

The Breezer works tucked or untucked (better untucked).  The 91% polyester 9% elastane fabric is super soft and comfortable.

I just cracked this shirt open today and I’m looking forward to giving it a full wear test. Stay tuned for the full HOG review soon.

It’s not too early to think about Father’s Day. I can already guarantee dad will love a Puma Golf Breezer Golf Shirt.

I just upped by Masters Tournament apparel scripting for this week with the newly arrived Augusta-green Union Camo Polo from Puma Golf.  The moment I saw Puma’s promo of this polo with Rickie Fowler wearing it, I knew I had to have one.  Check it out:

I must admit the fabric on this polo is quite a surprise.  It is made from 83% polyester, 13% cotton and has a “fluffy” feel and look to it.  I’ve already put it though one day of use and it is extremely comfortable. Super soft and smooth.

My normal review length will extend my review past the Masters Tournament, so I wanted to at least get you a quick preview for this great week of golf and the first major of the year. Stay tuned for the full HOG review soon.
