Friday’s Masters rounds are all complete now.
McIlroy
1st round leader Rory McIlroy held on to his lead, which is still two shots. McIlroy’s 69 featured a solid front nine and some sketchy putting on the back. I’m really liking Rory’s composure, and his balance in his swing is perfect. Love watching this player.

The leaderboard is shaping up, the last few groups are winding down the back nine.
Rory McIlroy (-10) followed up yesterday’s 65 with a very solid 69, keeping his two shot lead.
Rory McIlroy continues the great play. Rory birdied #2, #5 and #9 and is currently three shots ahead of the nearest competitor (K.J. Choi) at -10.
Speaking of K.J. Choi, he finished the day shooting 70 for a total score of 07. He had it at -8 a couple of times, but a 3-putt on 18 from birdie range hurt.
I’m tuned into the live video streams on my iPad and desktop machines watching the Masters. But I could have sworn I was watching the Bob Hope Desert Classic. Scores are continuing to be very low, lots of red numbers on the leader board.
K.J. Choi is currently in the lead at -8 after six holes. Y.E. Yang and Ricky Barnes are at -6 (through 10 and 8 respectively).
