Golf gear alert! In for review here at Hooked On Golf Blog is the latest and greatest hybrid from Cobra Golf, part of the new Baffler XL lineup. This one is a 19 degree Baffler XL Hybrid.
These pictures look great but the club is even more pretty when it is sitting in your hands.
Assuming it doesn’t snow, I’ll be putting this new hybrid from Cobra to the test. Stay tuned for my review but until then, check out this gallery of Cobra Baffler XL Hybrid photos.
Golf Gear Head Alert
In for review here at Hooked On Golf Blog are the new and cool looking Cobra Golf Baffler hybrids and Baffler fairway woods.
I spent some time shooting a few pics of them yesterday and have uploaded them to the HOG Cobra Image Gallery for you gear heads to enjoy in the mean time, while I’m in the testing period. Click either photo to see more. (more…)
This was a sticky issue back in August 2010 when word got out that Camilo Villegas was switching from Cobra/Titleist to Taylormade. Camilo’s contract wasn’t up yet, and such announcements are not supposed to happen while the player is still under contract.
I’m not up to speed on the status of a law suit between Cobra and TaylorMade, but the word today is that this deal is now done. Camilo Villegas is officially a TaylorMade tour staff player.
Wow this is big. Acushnet (parent company to Titleist, FootJoy, Cobra and Pinnacle) has agreed to sell the Cobra brand and all intellectual property to Puma. This is a big wow.
