Everyone stop by one of the best golf blogs in the blogosphere and wish Bogeyman a happy blogday. Bogeylounge is one of the most well designed and written golf blogs. He’s one of the “veterans” of golf blogging for sure.

My buddy Bogeyman and I have a lot in common: 1. We love golf. 2. We have golf blogs. 3. We’re Greek!

Furyk signs with Srixon

Jim Furyk has signed on with Srixon. As a Hogan lover it’s going to be hard to see Furyk with a Srixon hat on.

For now he’ll be playing only a prototype Srixon ball and the Srixon forged wedges. He’ll be keeping those Hogans in the bag until he and Srixon presumably come out with a new line.

A golf pro friend of my really likes Srixon golf balls, but I’ve only hit their range balls so I don’t know if they’re any good. That’s a hint for Srixon to send me some gear to test out-wink wink.

pollThe latest HOG poll has closed.

This was the most popular poll yet at 175 votes! Thanks for your participation! I now realize the poll has been broken for a while since no votes worked on the previous poll.

The results please:

30% of you drive the ball in the 225-250 yard range, followed closely by 28% of you in the 275-300 range. Most of you were honest and only 2% voted on 300+ yard average.

Will the real Tiger Woods house please stand up?

I posted an article and some photos of a junk email floating around the web which were supposedly Tiger’s house.

I’ve received some less than friendly emails from real estate agents in Maui stating that the house in question was not Tiger’s, and that it was a rental that goes for $4k-$6K per night there.

Now there’s real news that Tiger has bought a “compound” of about 10 acres on Jupiter Island for about $40,000,000. You mean for $40,000,000 you can’t get your own island?

Price gouging? The guy who owns that particular compound now bought it for $16.7 million in 2003. Do you think he jacked the price up a bit when he found out who was interested? Welcome to America.
