Over the past 2-3 years I’ve been working hard off the golf course to become more healthy. Through better diet, mountain biking, backcountry skiing, downhill skiing, and working out in the gym I’ve dropped 70 pounds! Woot. When I ride hard on the mountain bike or work hard skinning up a mountain at 10,000 feet, I lose a lot of fluids. Hydration is a must.
This summer I’ve been using Electrolit Zero for hydration with fantastic results. I’ll try to drink a whole bottle, or as much as I can about 30-45 minutes before my activity. I’ve noticed a huge difference in my energy level, power and endurance when I do this, especially in the hotter temperatures. In the middle of last summer when the temps were 100+ I would end up suffering a migraine style headache in my right eyeball. I assumed it was due to dehydration and/or brightness. This summer, when downing Electrolit Zero before my ride, no headaches! I even did a brutal ride when we were breaking temperature records here and it hit 107. I felt surprisingly good after that ride and no headache.
Zero Sugar – Zero Calories
The Electrolit Zero is just that, zero sugar and zero calories. In part of my better healthy lifestyle I reduced sugar intake big. Sugary drinks actually taste bad to me now that I’m used to the zero.
Flavors
There are three Zero flavors: Lemon Breeze, Fruit Punch Splash, and Berry Blast. My favorite flavor is Lemon Breeze but they all taste great, especially considering they are zero sugar.

Staying hydrated on the golf course is just as important as other activities. Being dehydrated on the course means muscle stiffness and cramps, energy loss, and perhaps worst of all loss of focus.
In for review is the newly released El Camino bag from Sunday golf, which has been available since last month (July 2022).
Sunday Golf does a fantastic job making small, light, easy to carry and easy to manage golf bags. Their bags are super small, light, and very well designed.
What is a Sunday bag? A Sunday bag is a bag that is designed to carry less clubs, typically from 8-10. The El Camino is designed to carry 10 clubs, but like my previous Sunday Golf bag, it could carry more.
I’ll be putting this bag into play, with 10 clubs, and posting my full review in the next few weeks. Stay tuned.

Summer here at home gets super hot. I to all sorts of activities outside, golf included, that can lead to dehydration. Just a week or so ago after a big ski/hike mission I had severe cramping in my right thigh. It was brutal. I’m now sampling Pickle Juice to help with cramps and dehydration. I’ve used it 3x now and have felt great following strenuous, sweaty activity.
Stay tuned for my final review and opinions.
Happened to be in the neighborhood of Cedar Hills Golf Club, Utah a few days ago. And as fate would have it, I had some FPV racing drones on hand (big surprise) and was able to do some flyovers. Looks like the back nine is undergoing some kind of maintenance, but still a fun look:
