Anybody who knows me knows I never go anywhere without my Canon S95 in my pocket. I need a high quality pocket camera because I want to be the first one to get the really great shots when the UFO’s land, that and I love to shot golf pictures while I’m playing great golf courses.
For two years I’ve been using a Canon S95, which I’ve absolutely beat to hell. I’ve dropped it on cement several times, caved in the back panel LCD, dented the case, got sand in it… Finally and unfortunately during my recent trip to St. Andrews my S95 decided it would only focus when the lens was at full width. Any zooming and the shots were out of focus. Bad timing, but the camera has been tough and lasted through a lot of abuse.
I sent the camera in to Canon Factory Service for an out-of-warranty repair. I just got the unit back and it looks fantastic! It looks like new and works great. The price for the out-of-warranty repair was fair and they fixed it fast.
Now I can get back to shooting golf pictures anywhere, anytime. Thanks Canon.
