This one is a follow up to yesterdays review of the Fila Golf Trento Polo. These Fila plaid Bermuda shorts go perfectly with the polo from yesterday in my “ensemble” I wore at last week’s Monday Masters practice round.
Details
The Fila Golf Plaid Bermuda shorts are made from 65% polyester and 35% cotton. I’d prefer all poly really since I’m not a big cotton fan. But having worn and washed these shorts several times I’m not unhappy with them. The cotton is wrinkle resistant, which is important to me. I don’t want to spend half my life ironing golf apparel.
Two large welt pockets in the back are great for wallets, scorecards and yardage books.
Sizes / Colors
These Bermuda shorts come in three colors: black, Fila navy and silver
Sizes: 28, 30, 32, 34, 36, 38, 40
On The Course
I’ve put these babies through the ringer, both literally and figuratively. These are very sharp and classy looking and as I mentioned, match very well with that Trento polo.
The comfort level is fantastic. Walking the course is easy as is swinging the club or bending down to read a putt. No stress points or pinching. Total comfort.
In the heat of the summer, like when I was walking around Augusta National in 90+ degrees, these shorts stay nice and cool.
The pockets are easy to get into, even if there’s a bit of perspiration on my hands. Nothing more irritating than not being able to get your sweaty hands into your pockets and when you finally to, pulling the pocket inside out when you remove your hand. No issues here.
Conclusion
Hard to write a 2000 word review on a pair of golf shorts, so 290 words will do. These are great shorts. Very comfortable and sharp looking. Highly recommended.
