As a moderately high handicapper (18) I am rather cynical about the claims made on balls. For most golfers I think there is very little to be gained by using one brand over another given how close in quality the balls are. I’ve used almost all brands of balls over the years and find little difference in performance. I recognize if you are a low handicapper that would not be true, but for most of us hackers scores have not gone down much despite all the innovations in equipment.

Will you bring up some good points. I don’t think the ball is all to blame for the scores of the average player not improving.
I think the most important part about a ball fitting for a high handicapper is probably gained distance. If you gain yardage from the tee, you will have a shorter and easier shot to the green. That could actually help your score.
