Let’s hear your input on this folks! What are your biggest stories in your personal golf world? Comment in.
My most memorable golf moment in 2010 came when I took my 6 year old daughter golfing over the summer. She is part of the First Tee. I had her tee off from the 150 yard markers. She sat her bag down, pulled out her driver and hit the ball straight down the fairway. She put her club away and started walking. I said “Rachel, don’t forget to get your golf clubs!” and she turned around and said “Daddy, all the girls in the LPGA have their daddys carry their clubs on TV.”
Very cool Shawn. Great comment!
I too started my daughter at a young age and she went on to play high school and college golf. She now works for the First Tee teaching young kids the game. Shawn, the memories that you and your daughter are making are priceless and will be with you always.

I don’t know how you top the Tiger story – and really the headline is that Tiger goes major winless for two years, and completely winless for one.
But I think the big and most impacting story of the year is that European takes #1 Golf Ranking because nobody else is interested in being #1. And Story #2 is – World #1 Westwood and the hottest PGA Rookie McIllroy take balls and go home.
