I hadn’t posted this photo because I thought it was fake, but apparently it isn’t. Photographer “Mark Pain” (quite the pun, considering this situation) snapped this image right before a Tiger Woods’ chip shot hit him in the chest and fell to the ground. So was Tiger that far off or did the photographer get in the way of the shot? And nobody has mentioned whether or not Tiger’s caddy Steve Williams smashed the photographer’s camera…
Update: There’s a guy on the right with a mustache and a cigar. This guy has been photoshopped into hundreds of photos all over the net. “Cigar Guy” has become quite a rage…. Read the next post.
Wasn’t this is duff chip from the back and side of the 18th? Can’t remember what day it was, but he took alot of time over the shot and then it just dribble few yards ahead of him. The second he got pretty close? If it was, I don’t think the ball even got chest height? And what the hell is up with the guy on the right with the cigar and dodge beanie? Still rate this is fake. Good photo shop skills tho. . .
Anybody letting go of the club that quickly – especially on a chip, is a sure sign of a bad shot.
Starting to take my words back and eat a bit of humble pie. Seems this pic may just be real! Can’t believe there wasn’t more of a reaction at the time bout it? Could of swore it hit a buggy? Great snap tho, wow.
Funny stuff!
