Jim Furyk has methodically ground his way to a victory at East Lake Golf Club to win the FedEx Cup and a cool $10,000,000.   It came down to a sensational up-and-down on the 18th from the right greenside bunker for par, in a pouring rain to win it.  Furyk was 9-9 in sand saves.

Many congratulations to my new BFF Jim Furyk.  Hey Jim, since we’re such good buddies do you have a few extra bucks you can loan me?

    I just heard Furyk say he bought his putter from a 9 hole course near the TPC in Boston. Any idea what shop it was?

    NO. He bought the putter at a golf superstore which had hundreds of putters there. It was in the used bin listed at $60+ and they “gave him a deal” on it for $39.
