Happy birthday to my friend Jay Flemma

I’ve had the privilege of meeting some neat people in the golf world as a result of this golf blog. One of the best, coolest, most unique, most spunky and down right funny is my close friend Jay Flemma (pictured right in the blue doing his thing). Jay is a talented golf writer, golf blogger and NYC attorney. Jay’s passion and energy for golf is unmatched.

Jay and I have conquered many courses together from Black Mesa in New Mexico to Ballyneal in the plains of Colorado/Nebraska. Through Jay I’ve made many great friends and golf connections, played many incredible courses, and even met my pals from the fun rock band Bowling For Soup. I’ve also gained more knowledge and appreciation of golf course design and course designers like Tom Doak and Jim Engh.

Best wishes to you Jay. Happy birthday my friend and many many more. I look forward to our next adventure.
