Velocity Wipes are moist golf club cleaning towels which come in a dispenser similar to what you’d see baby wipes come in, only much bigger.
I’m not sure what kind of magic chemical they’re soaked in, but these babies clean clubs better than hot soapy water with a steel brush. The wipes easily clean the grass stains off my irons and woods (no I don’t have grass stains on my driver). Even dirt and grass stains which seemed tough to remove from the grooves of my irons via a steel brush were removed (or are they dissolved?) with very little elbow grease. The less elbow grease the better for guys like me who have golfer’s elbow.
Velocity Wipes are truly amazing. Even with the most intense scrubbing with warm soapy water my irons don’t end up with a shine close to when I use the Velocity Wipes. I know it sounds cliche’ but my irons haven’t looked this good since they were new. They look brand new now.
As strong as the chemical in the VW’s must be I started to worry that it might eat the skin right off my hands. I can say that the skin on my hands is still there and I’ve not had even the slightest bit of irritation. So whatever they are using it’s amazing at cleaning clubs but is harmless when it comes to your skin.
Perhaps it’s in my head, but not only do the VW’s clean the clubs better than anything I’ve ever tried but they stay clean longer too. 2-3 rounds after I first cleaned my irons they still seemed to shine more than normal.
Conclusion
Velocity Wipes do an amazing job cleaning your clubs with very little effort. One wipe can do your whole set of clubs, leaving them practically as clean and shiny as the day they were new.
