Inside Lehman

So you’re thinking this is going to be an inside scoop on golfer Tom Lehman? Sorry to disappoint you, but this is a little piece on an awesome place I visited this last weekend. The reason I missed Corey Pavin (aka The Rat) win his first tourney in around a decade was I was at Great Basin National Park.

The main attraction at Great Basin National Park is the Lehman Cave. The Lehman Cave is an amazing display of stalagmites, stalactites, helectites, cave bacon, cave popcorn and cave draperies. Google those terms if you don’t know what some of them are.

I shot down there this weekend on a last minute whim to do some spelunking.

Here are a few shots from inside Lehman Cave:

Me by a large column:

An indoor pool with some columns, stalagmites and stalactites. Look how clear the water is.

Shooting up a column into a stalagmite and cave bacon.

An awesome wall.

One more for good measure.
