I’m back home now, and the final two days of the craziest two weeks in HOG history is here. I’m physically and mentally spent from the last two weeks at the Byron Nelson and the Mesquite Am. The back has been very stiff for a few days. I’m carefully moving so as to not throw it out.
Today and tomorrow the Richard Kramer Salt Lake City Amateur tournament takes place at one of my favorite courses, Bonneville. The tournament is the biggest of the year for me, the one I want to perform the best in. I know I don’t have a chance of winning against the young 20 year old bombers who have no fear and will shoot two 66’s, but I at least want to place in the money. Last year, despite finishing with a double and then a bogey, I finished in the money by a shot.
I’m off to round one this morning. A report will follow.
