The latest HOG poll has closed. The results:

What’s the most you’d pay for a round of golf?
$500+ -> 10%
$300 -> 9%
$200 -> 29% (29 Votes) 29%
$100 -> 38% (38 Votes) 38%
$50 -> 14% (14 Votes) 14%

Most of you cap your limit for a round of golf at $100. Me? There are courses I’d pay $500 to play.

I’ll get you out at Mtn. View again. The rates just went up, though. It’s like $489, but if you pay me I’ll get it down to something more like $469. $20 off! Can’t beat it. Just get in touch.

Good list of $500 courses.

Shadow Creek is VERY cool, but it is the only one that doesn’t belong on your list.

I’ve played it, and it probably should belong on your list. It is an amazing course, especially out in the middle of the desert.

For me, I just can’t see paying that much unless the course is so super historic AND super private that it would be a once in a lifetime opportunity. By that logic, I guess St. Andrews shouldn’t belong, but they don’t charge that much anyways (at least I don’t think they do).
