7:39PM ET
If you aren’t watching the Bob Hope, now would be a good time to tune in. A three man playoff is underway.
Jhonattan Vegas could have won the tournament with a par on the par-5 18th, but made bogey via a 3-putt.
Bill Haas and Gary Woodland round out the playoff.
7:41PM ET
Haas and Woodland are in the rough on #18, Vegas is in the fairway. The playoff will be played on holes 18-10-18 etc.
7:46PM ET
Vegas’ 2nd shot to the par-5 is way left. Next to the grandstands.
Woodland’s 2nd shot nearly hit the stick and went a little long through the green.
Haas had a sidehill lie from 250 out and barely cleared the water.
Woodland is looking the most favorable after all players have hit two shots.
7:52PM ET
Vegas hit an incredible shot which was nearly impossible to get close. He hit the hole and nearly made eagle.
Haas will make par.
Woodland’s chip was so-so. He could have chipped in for eagle or at least left a tap in birdie. It is no tap in.
7:53PM ET
Woodland makes the birdie putt. Vegas must make to extend the playoff.
Vegas barely makes his birdie putt to extend the playoff, which is now two players.
Hole #10 is next.
7:55PM ET
Oh no. Vegas hit driver into the water hazard on #10. Woodland then pulled 3-metal and put it in the fairway. He has a 7-iron to the green. Advantage Woodland.
6:08PM ET
Oh man. Woodland hit the right trap and is now looking at bogey. Vegas hit the green and has a chance to WIN with about a 15 footer.
6:09PM ET
VEGAS WINS by making an incredible par after finding the water hazard. He had about a 15 footer to win and drained it.
The nerves were causing him to be very shaky, but he came through.
Bravo. Bravo.
