The $250K I just spent on Tiger Woods irons on ebay was for fakes?

Steve Mata, a former Titleist rep, had a set of Tiger Woods’ irons on ebay. They were allegedly the ones Woods used when he won all four majors in a row. Those irons were for sale at $250,000.

I was just about to click “buy it now” and PayPal Mr. Mata the $250k but then I heard that Tiger made a statement about the irons:

“He may have my set of irons, but they’re not from those tournaments. They’re in my garage.” ~Tiger Woods

MOST of the irons are in the garage. One of them is still in the front yard.
