Just got a great phone call!

I played in a 27 hole tournament with my pop today. How did we play as a team? Let’s just say the weather was great and the course was beautiful and leave it at that.

I’m home checking my email and making sure my sites haven’t been hacked and I get a phone call. The guy calling is a buddy who I play with several times per week. He and my other golf buddy are on the 17th hole at a local course here called Meadowbrook. (Every city has a “Meadowbrook” golf course doesn’t it?). They’d called to let me know that the one guy (Al), just got a hole in one!

I told him since they notified me via the cell phone that made me a “phone witness” and he’d have to buy me a beer when we golf tomorrow…

By the way, this is the 7th hole in one for old Al.
